By Scott Doggett September 8, 2008
Someone within General Motors has leaked studio shots of the production Chevy Volt with executives tasked with developing the hybrid posing beside their star car.
Shown are GM product chief Bob Lutz, vehicle line executive Tony Posawatz, chief engineers Frank Weber and Andrew Farah, and design lead Bob Boniface. You can see who is who by placing your cursor atop each photograph.
The Volt will officially debut next Tuesday during GM's centennial celebrations in Detroit.

Well this design is definitely more sexy and chiseled than the Prius, and I believe these body clones may never end because it is arguable that such a shape is the most aerodynamic one possible.
I think you're referring to the Honda Insight, which does look remarkable similar to the Prius in every way possible. The Volt is a unique design in its own right, and a simple glance at the A-and-C pillars tells us it looks nothing like the dustbuster-shaped Prius.
thephotoguy, i'm afraid i'm going to have to borrow "the dustbuster-shaped Prius" next time i have a chance. totally apt. i agree with you regarding the unique design, although i also see what mozzz77788 is saying. we're going to see a lot more curves, fewer hard angles and rounded fronts in most gas-powered vehicles here on out.
Seems like an awfully high hood where it meets the windshield. I hope the seat height adjusts to accommodate shorter drivers.
