U.S. Fiesta to Start at $13,995; Ford Offers Incentives for Reserving One by April 2
By Scott Doggett December 3, 2009
After making such a fuss about the return of the Fiesta to the U.S. after a three-decade absence, Ford today very quietly disclosed the starting U.S. price of the fuel-efficient car on the Fiesta's official Website: $13,995, including a mandatory $675 destination fee.
That would be for the base S model, a sedan. Expect to pay $15,100 for a hatchback. Add another $1,000 for a hatchback equipped with Ford's new six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which will save you some dinero at the pump.
From now until April 2, Ford is allowing reservations for a Fiesta to the prospective buyer's exact specifications. "And what's really cool is, select Fiesta models will come equipped with the advanced Ford SYNC with navigation plus Premium Sound at no extra charge," so says the official Website.
