Ford Prices Sync: $395 Option
By Michelle Krebs August 9, 2007Ford has announced the price of its Sync option, an in-car communications and entertainment system developed with Microsoft, will be $395.
Sync will be available on a dozen 2008-models beginning this fall. It will be standard on Lincolns and widely available as standard or an option on Ford and Mercury models. Ford plans to offer it on nearly all Ford, Lincoln and Mercury models within two years.
Sync is voice-activated and accommodates Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones and digital media players.
Models available with standard or optional Sync for 2008 are:
Ford Edge, Explorer, Explorer Sport Trac, Focus, Fusion, Taurus, Taurus X
Mercury Sable, Milan, Mountaineer
Lincoln MKX, MKZ
