A Premium Trim package adds leather upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats with manual lumbar and premium door panels for $795 on the five-door XR and $745 on the three-door XR.
A Sport Handling package, available only on the five-Door XR, costs $695 and adds 17-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, StabiliTrak vehicle stability control, lowered sport suspension and quick-ratio electrohydraulic power steering.
An Advanced Audio package on both XR models includes a six-disc CD/MP3 player, seven premium speakers, seven-band equalizer and enhanced Driver Information Display for $595.
Optional equipment includes: a four-speed automatic transmission, $1,325; a dual-panel sunroof on the five-door models, $1,000; StabiliTrak, $495; cloth heated front seats, $250; and 18-inch wheels and tires on three-door models, $495.
The Astra is yet another model in a long string of new products for the once-product-starved Saturn. It replaces the Ion as Saturn’s entry-level car.

The ASTRA is a really nice car to drive. But wait till you drive the 240 hp. two litre, turbo version, called "red line" in the USA and Canada. WOW!
