Report Says Tata Wins Jaguar, Land Rover from Ford

Britain's Birmingham Post newspaper says Tata will pay the equivalent of $2 billion for the two brands.

TATAS don’t have a good reputation in Quality; their first indigenously developed car had 50,000 cancellations due to problems. If Jaguar and Land Rover were to fall in the hands of TATA, they might do anything to cut corners and make profit including outsourcing the component manufacturing to their ultra cheap car manufacturing plant in Singur India.
