Rolls-Royce Motors Cars’ worldwide sales exceeded 1,000 units for the first time ever in 2007.

The company said sales rose 25 percent from 2006 to a total of 1,010.

The British luxury maker expanded its dealer network in 2007, including new showrooms in St. Petersburg and Kiev in Russia, as well as Dresden, Germany. The company now has 80 dealers worldwide.

Rolls-Royce will launch a Phantom-based coupe this summer and a new model series, currently dubbed RR4, in 2010.
