Chrysler Plant in St. Louis To Close

Chrysler confirmed it would move ahead the permanent closure of its St. Louis North 2009 Dodge Ram 1500.jpg assembly plant to July 10.

Chrysler had planned to close the plant in the third quarter, but advanced the schedule due to declining demand for the Dodge Ram pickup trucks built there. The automaker will continue building the Ram at its Warren, Michigan, assembly plant.

This is bad. Definitely the state of the economy, and Chrysler's actions toward its dealers scaring potenial buyers away are both contributing factors. I really like my 2009 Ram 1500.
