Kia Plans to Sell 20,000 Forte Koup Cars This Year

2010 globally, the company revealed in regulatory documents.
The automaker also said it is considering building a midsize sedan at its soon-to-open U.S. plant in Georgia. The vehicle under consideration for the plant is codenamed VG, currently sold as the Kia Amanti.
The company said the plant is due to open in December as scheduled, with no delays as the Korean press is reporting.

Hmm, that's not a bad looking car. Kind of like a cross between a Honda Civic and a first generation Mazda 3.
I really like the direction Hyundai and Kia are going. No real breakthroughs in design, but just nice looking cars with decent performance for a good price.
It does look like a nice car, even though it is actually a Forte Sedan. The Koup is the (surprise!) two-door version that will come onto the market later. That car looks even better and will actually offer some fairly high performance to compliment the good looks. This constant improvement in content, quality and styling by the Koreans is remarkable. Maybe GM should have learned something from this before it was too late.
