Michelle Krebs Michelle Krebs, Senior Analyst and Editor at Large, has covered the automotive industry for more than 25 years, regularly writing for publications such as The New York Times, the Detroit Free Press, Parade, Motor Trend and AutoWeek. Before starting her own business, she was staff writer for Automotive News, covering the financial beat and General Motors Corp. Krebs has written a column for Inside Line, Edmunds' high-speed online car magazine and the most-read automotive enthusiast Web site, since its launch in January 2005. In addition, she is an Adjunct Professor of Business at Detroit's College for Creative Studies. An award-winning writer, Krebs has served as president of the Automotive Press Association in Detroit and is a graduate of Syracuse University.

About Bill Visnic

Bill VisnicEdmunds' AutoObserver.com Senior Editor Bill Visnic is a veteran of automotive journalism, having covered and analyzed auto technology and business for trade and consumer media outlets for nearly 20 years.

Prior to his current position, Bill was senior technical editor at Ward's Automotive Group, which he joined in 1993. While at Ward's, he conceived and executed the Ward's 10 Best Engines program, which is one of the most highly anticipated awards in the automotive industry.

Bill was a freelance reporter and an associate editor at Car and Driver magazine earlier in his career. Throughout his tenure as a journalist, Bill has provided auto industry analysis for a diverse selection of national broadcasters and publications and is the recipient of numerous technical- and business-writing honors.

Bill is a graduate of West Virginia University with degrees in English and political science.

About David Tompkins

David TompkinsDavid Tompkins is the Executive Director of Business Analytics for Edmunds.com. Tompkins leads a team of Ph.D. statisticians and industry experts focused on analyzing automotive trends as well as online shopping behavior. Tompkins joined Edmunds in 2003 after working at J.D. Power and Associates. He has a Ph.D. in Econometrics from the University of Maryland and a B.S. from M.I.T.

About Jessica Caldwell

Jessica CaldwellJessica Caldwell is the Director of Pricing and Industry Analysis at Edmunds. She has been with the company since July 2006, having come from Subaru's product planning department where she served as the Forester Car Line Manager. Earlier in her career, she was a product strategy specialist for Mitsubishi and worked in the dealership real estate division of Toyota Motor Sales, USA. Caldwell earned her BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
